A Professional Hockey Player Would Never Get Into An Altercation With A Fan
By now everybody has seen the video of Russell Westbrook getting into a heated exchange with a fan at the Thunder v Jazz game last night. Now I forget who first said this but I thought it was the greatest idea ever presented in human history–every professional athlete should be allowed to fight 1 fan per year. Almost like the Purge. If fans know that there’s a chance they could actually get their ass beat, then maybe they wouldn’t be running their mouth so much while sitting court side.
With that being said, this type of incident would never take place at an NHL game. Because hockey players have way too much class to ever engage with fans in a confrontational manner. Not even one time.
