Remember How Bad CBS Fucked Up The Selection Sunday Show Last Year? Well, You Won't Believe This

Remember last year? CBS decided to announce the teams in alphabetical order and then reveal the bracket. It was a shit show. It was absolutely sucked. People were sitting there saying their alphabet to see if Notre Dame was in or not. It was one of the worst shows in all of TV history.

But, we did it. We bullied them into going back to the basics.

Don’t give me any of the dumb things. Put some cameras with a few teams that are on the bubble so we get the reaction of them finding out if they made it or not. Go region by region showing me the bracket. Pause a bit so I can look it over quick (and throw it in the blog without delay). Then spend the next 30 minutes breaking it down. That’s all I want. It’s not that tough. All people want is to see the bracket.

I obviously love Selection Sunday. It just lets you know that you’re in for a week of wings, nachos, drinking and ignoring work. You’re in for all the pools and bets. It’s like Christmas Eve. You get a taste of it but not the whole thing. So thanks to CBS for giving me what I want and really that’s all that matters to me.
