Brad Marchand And Marcus Johansson Have Buried The Hatchet

Brad Marchand ended Marcus Johansson’s season last year with a nasty elbow that earned him a 5 game suspension. Johansson, now a Boston Bruin, said Marchand called him yesterday after being traded, and everything is ‘water under the bridge’.

“I think, it’s water under the bridge. It’s hockey, it’s a tough game, he called me yesterday and we spoke for a bit. He apologized, which was great, I just, I just said that stuff happens a lot, it’s just fun to be here. It’s fun to be his teammate. I think he’s one of the best players in the league. So it’s fun to be on this side of it now.”

Good on Marchy for making the call.

MoJo will make his B’s debut tonight, slotting on the right wing with Jake DeBrusk on the left and David Krejci down the middle. Joakim Nordstrom in for Peter Cehlarik on the third line. Kevan Miller out, John Moore in. Halakness Monster in net.

Back on home ice. It’s a great night to win a hockey game. Let’s fucking go.
