Despite Jussie Smollett's Lies And Deceit, There is NOTHING Wrong With Writing Checks In Your Day-to-Day Life

Smollett, who is black and openly gay, had told police he was attacked as he was walking home around 2 a.m. on Jan. 29. He claimed two masked men – one of them also wearing a red hat – shouted racist and homophobic slurs as they beat him, put a noose around his neck, and poured a chemical on them.

Police said, in reality, Smollett had paid those two men, Ola and Abel Osundairo, $3,500 by check to stage the attack. CBS 2’s Charlie De Mar has reported Smollett also directed the brothers to buy the noose at a hardware store and the hat and masks at a store in Uptown. Johnson said police have the check.

Is what Jussie did wrong? Absolutely but allow me to be the brave soul who is willing to take a stand that matters in 2019.

THERE IS NOTHING WRONG WITH USING CHECKS!

Honestly, there is nothing more simple than using a check. You just walk right up to the gas station clerk and say, “I’ll have 15 dollars on pump 7. The midgrade.”

“That’ll be 15 dollars.” You smile at the clerk and say hello to all the friendly people in the gas station while pulling your check book out of your pocket. You ask around for a pen because you left yours in your other pair of jeans. That stinks. It writes so well.

You begin to write, “Fifteen Dollars and 00/100 ————–” Then in the number block “15.00”

And then you write “Valero Gas Station San Antonio” after that “for gas” and then you sign your name. Whoops. Dont forget to put the date on the top.

That’s it. Done deal. A few short days later, that 15 dollars is taken from your account. Literally, nothing can be easier than this process but I guess some people like the old school feel of having cash in their hand. Not me. I, like Jussie, prefer using checks.

In short, making up a hate crime is bad but there is nothing wrong with using checks. Dont let the LAMEstream media suggest otherwise.

Also, dont think that this is a hipster take. I’ve been writing checks for literally weeks.
