Eminem Talking Shit About MGK Reminded Me He Needs To Stop Making Music

I love this approach by Eminem. The fans are chanting for Killshot (Eminem’s MGK diss) and I’m all for giving the people what they want, but saying “I would, but I can’t give that cocksucker anymore fucking light” is such a great quote and the crowd loved it. MGK has had a few hit songs over the years (Wild Boy is a SMASH that reminds me of raging in Seaside at after prom festivities) but he’s not worth the hair growing from Eminems asshole. To this day I’m still surprised he even chose to verbally spar with him but I think he’s just bored and it gave him an excuse to hop back in the ring. Also he was very heated about some unkind words about his daughter. He explains it in detail and absolutely roasts MGK in this interview he did with Sway awhile back.

At this point Eminem is like a punch drunk boxer. Just putting out songs rapping at these fast paced speeds that no one wants to hear anymore. I didn’t mind the diss and I bet his shows are still amazing but rapping/making music is much like boxing, it’s a young mans game. He’s solidified himself as one of the all time greats there’s nothing he can do at this point to make his legacy any better. Eminem is already on the Rap Mount Rushmore the only reason to keep making music is 1) money (which he has plenty of) and 2) it just gives him something to do. I think his motive is definitely more the latter, although anything he drops is gonna go platinum off his name/loyal fanbase alone so the money sure as hell never hurts.

I always have and always will love Eminem. One of the best rappers of all time and a generational type figure in not just the music world but the world period. There was a point in my life where I would have puked at the thought of saying this but I hope Eminem is done making music. Hang the gloves up Champ. Go out on top. There’s nothing left to prove.
