MATT DAMON WAS RIGHT - UFC Books Stylebender/Gastelum Interim Middleweight Title Fight For April

Well, well, well – certainly looks like Matt Damon was correct on his medical expertise and diagnosis for UFC Middleweight Champion Robert Whittaker following his hernia surgery, eh?

Take that, Jason Bourne doubters.

Now, being we have no idea what the timetable for Bobby Knuckles’ return is looking like, the UFC went ahead and booked this phenomenal fight for the main event of UFC 236 in April (the 13th, to be exact).

We’ve got Israel “The Last Stylebender” Adesanya vs the new and improved HEEL Kelvin Gastelum for a shot at the interim 185-lb crown, which is honestly one of the more intriguing matchups I’ve seen in quite some time. Between Stylebender’s ability to apply pressure to his opponents via his unique, unrelenting striking, and Kelvin’s superb wrestling ability which may be able to shut down the former kickboxer’s offense, I truly don’t know WHAT to expect from these two, which is the best way to go into any fight.

UFC 236 can now start filling out their undercard, and hopefully putting together something special to support this amazing main event. Can’t wait!
