Sled Dog Musher Has To Pull Out Of Race Early After His Dogs Got Too Horny
Source – When one of Andre Duval’s sled dogs went into heat during the 35th annual John Beargrease Sled Dog Marathon in Duluth, one of the male dogs took notice and decided to call it quits.
“The second 38-mile leg was tough on my leaders, and I had one of my team dogs go into heat, so my male leader was frazzled, I guess,” Duval said. “He was confused as to what he was doing, so long story short, I had to pull out (of the race) at the 84-mile checkpoint at Finland.”
The 20-year-old from Brainerd was competing for the first time Sunday, Jan. 27, in the Beargrease 120, the mid-distance class race of the John Beargrease Sled Dog Marathon.
Women weaken legs. Isn’t that the saying? Isn’t that why they say you shouldn’t get a buck sesh in the night before a big game? Well if they say that you shouldn’t have sex the night before a game, you probably don’t want to be having sex in the middle of a race.
Unfortunately for one sled dog driver, however, his dogs were just way too damn horny to follow those rules. And after 84 miles of a 120 mile race, these dogs just couldn’t contain themselves anymore. It was time to get it on. Presumably doggy style. And just like that, the race was over for young Andre Duval.
That’s the thing about sled dog racing. I mean NFL head coaches typically don’t have to worry about their players banging during the middle of the Super Bowl. Nor do NHL head coaches during the Stanley Cup or MLB managers during the World Series. I’d even go as far as to say that this wouldn’t even be a scenario which those guys would even think about happening. But in sled dog racing? You never know when one of your dogs are going to go into heat and the whole squad is going too get extra horny. So am I saying that it’s much more difficult to be a sled dog musher than it is to be a head coach in the National Football League? Well considering Jon Gruden was able to win a Super Bowl as a head coach in the NFL, I’d say yes. Yes it is.
