Let's Give the Nobel Prize to This Kid Who Won His Science Fair by Proving Deflategate is a Lie

Tennessee - Jayveion Morgan is a 5th grader at Catlettsburg Elementary School. Last year he won first place in his science fair by proving that the pressure in the ball was reduced by the cold air that day in New England.

Take THAT, Ace Davis.

You and all your backwards-ass, anti-science, primitive, Luddite, de-evolved, Flat-Earther witch doctors in the Lexington School District can go straight to hell because my man Javeion Morgan of Sevierville just put you in a logical body bag. You’re down there handing out blue ribbons based on fear and superstition. In Tennessee they’re teaching science. Proven, substantiated, settled science.

It wasn’t Tom Brady taking air out of those footballs. It wasn’t The Deflator or Dorito Dink. It wasn’t an ancient curse or the She Wolf Goddess swallowing the moon and while the world is balanced on the back of a turtle. It was the Ideal Gas Law. PV = nRT. The basic, immutable law of thermodynamics that dictates everything from how liquid-fueled rockets work to propane tank safety to why all winter my timeline blows up with photos of people’s dashboards showing me that the cold made their tire pressure warning light up.

I’m not saying I’m the Mona Lisa Vito of the football world. As she was in the … car expertise … area. Just that I know basic physics when I see it. And it’s obvious that in Tennessee they still reject blind hatred posing as pseudo-science and embrace verifiable truth.

I have a piece of unfriendly advice for those Science-for-Hire frauds at Exponent that Ted Wells paid millions to: You should open a branch office in Kentucky, where they reward fake science. But keep your ass out of Sevierville, Tennessee where they know better and brilliant minds like Jayveion Morgan are on the job. We’ll be seeing this kid in Stockholm.
