Keeping Up With The Process: The Sixers Are 11-2 When Diehard Fan Kendall Jenner Is In The Building

Houston Rockets v Philadelphia 76ers

Last night the Sixers beat the Spurs 122-120. In the process, Ben Simmons became the 3rd youngest player in NBA history to record at least 20 triple-doubles in his career. The only two guys who were younger? Oscar Robertson and Magic Johnson. Maybe you’ve heard of those guys a time or two before.

But more important than Ben getting his 8th triple-double of the season, we turn to his girl sitting courtside. Because after last night’s win against San Antonio, the Sixers are now 11-2 with Kendall Jenner in attendance.

I could be wrong here but I’m pretty sure her first game at Wells Fargo Center was the Cavs game back when the Sixers had their first home loss of the season. People immediately began clamoring to keep Kendall Jenner not only out of the Wells Fargo Center, but out of Ben Simmons’ life entirely. You know–because of the whole, “ah shit. He’s definitely going to end up leaving Philly for LA in free agency, isn’t he?” thing. But these are the Philadelphia 76ers we’re talking about here. We can’t rush to make any sort of judgement based on just one game. Everything about the Sixers is a Process, and that includes having Kendall Jenner sitting courtside. And now after giving it a little time and trusting said Process?

11 wins. 2 losses.

Do you know what that is? That right there is damn near 3 playoff series wins right there. The Sixers are 1 win away with Kendall Jenner in attendance from advancing to the NBA Finals. As long as the Sixers are able to lock up home court advantage and can have diehard fan Kendall Jenner at the Farg for all those games, the Sixers will be squaring off against the Golden State Warriors looking to bring that dynasty to an end in the Finals.

All I’m saying is that maybe we were completely wrong about Kendall Jenner. I mean, if Ben ends up leaving Philly for LA in free agency to be closer to her and LeBron one of these days, then we can go back to hating her. But for right now? Kendall Jenner is good to go. Hell, she’s been to so many Sixers games this season that I’m almost expecting her to be calling into Philly sports talk radio soon. She trusts the Process and for that, we should trust her.

P.S. – Wet.

P.P.S. – Ended racism with a can of Pepsi and made the Sixers legitimate contenders? Kendall Jenner might be the most important person of the 21st century.
