Prayers Up For Victor Oladipo Who Just Suffered A Gruesome Knee Injury

Oh what the hell. Not Victor Oladipo, this is awful. Ever since Oladipo made his way to Indiana he’s been terrific. He shook his early struggles in ORL and OKC and developed into a legit #1 option franchise player. We saw him deliver last year in both the regular season and then the playoffs, and he was backing that season up this year leading the Pacers to the 3 seed. You honestly hate to see anyone go down like this but especially Oladipo. From everything we’ve seen from him he’s not just a great player but a better person so you feel for him. It’s never a great situation when they bring the stretcher out and cover your knee with a towel. Best case scenario you’re looking at a torn ACL or something. I really hope somehow someway he avoids anything super serious. I know there’s like a 5% chance of that happening but I’m rooting for it. We got somewhat lucky with Caris LeVert and his injury so you never know.

I feel for the Pacers fans out there too, who were having a great season while the national media pretty much overlook them. They’re for real and can still compete in the East, but losing Oladipo is a gigantic loss there’s no way to spin that. They survived without him for a stretch earlier this season but I’d be surprised if they stayed in that top 4 moving forward. The whole thing just really fucking sucks.
