Tedy Bruschi Just Took Max Kellerman Out Like The Trash Regarding The "Cliff" Comments

“We’ve all got a job to do, I just think you’re struggling at your job.”

ICE COLD!!!!!!!

Goddamn I love Tedy Bruschi. I can’t imagine a thing more emasculating than a grown man, a supposed peer, sitting on your show and telling you that you’re flatout not very good at your job.

And I loved Max trying to cover it up with the sad eyes, fake laugh, and saying “I’m good at my job! They’re talking about me!” That’s so pathetic. It might not be completely false, but it’s pathetic. Yes, Max’s job is to drive national conversation, not necessarily with truth, and to grab headlines. I will concede that. But don’t pretend you go home every night and think, “God I really crushed it today” when the world is laughing at you. When outlets from sea to shining sea are using screengrabs and clips of you to mock you. Maybe your producer is happy, but reality TV producers are often happy too, doesn’t mean the subject is looking like a functioning, intelligent human being.

“Well they’re talking about me” as a rebuttal is like correcting someone’s typo: the moment you reach for that you know you’ve lost everything the argument is actually about.

PS – Sneaky best line was “we’ve all been on losing streaks. I’ve lost 2, 3 games in a row before.” FLEXXXXXXXXXX.
