Dalmatian Sends His Owner's $180K RV Careening Into A Lake, Is Still A Good Boy
Daily Mail- Professional fisher Eric Jackson, 54, had gotten out of his $180,000 RV to get his boat into the water on Monday when it suddenly felt like the entire world was moving.
Bodi, Jackson’s two-year-old Dalmatian, had jumped onto the driver’s seat to watch him out of the window.
But he accidentally stood on the keypad for the transmission, knocking the 38-foot vehicle into reverse – and right into the water.
Does that look like the face of a dog who would intentionally drive his owner’s very expensive RV into a lake in Texas? Honestly, kind of. According to the story, Bodi (pictured above) just wanted to watch his owner through the window of the RV, and his little paws put the thing in reverse. First of all, I feel like “so easy a dog can do it” shouldn’t be the motto of any RV. Don’t you need a special license to operate one? Shouldn’t you? Second, most dogs freak out a little once they feel a car moving. The determination required by this dog to stay in one place long enough to drive that thing fully into the lake makes me think he might have had something against the RV.
All I want is for the guy to make an insurance claim and have a trial involving the testimony of the dog, which is objectively some of the cutest shit in the world.
“How did the RV end up in the lake, Bodi?”
The RV is apparently pretty damaged, according to Bodi’s owner, “‘The transmission is full of water, the electric system is fried,’ Jackson said. ‘It doesn’t run, it’s not going anywhere.'” Still, Bodi is a good boy and I forgive him.
