Bulls Lose A Nailbiter To Warriors 146 - 109
Not to sound like a complete psychopath but I was actually looking forward to Bulls Warriors last night. I know we suck but I still wanted to see how the squad would match up against the defending champs. Especially after getting roasted by Golden State in October when the Bulls gave up 92 first half points. I thought it would be a nice test for JB and the boys. Here are my observations:
The Bulls are very bad – I know you know. And you know I know. And we all know everyone knows. But it cannot be understated. The Bulls are fucking TERRIBLE at winning NBA games. Last night looked like an NBA All Star game vs a G League open gym. Every other possession ends up with Zach Lavine in ISO for 18 seconds before shooting a step back something. And honestly that’s when the offense was clicking. Some data:
38 assists to 16. Makes me sick. I swear to christ the Warriors don’t let the ball hit the floor. Their offense is cut straight from a Hoosiers montage with unbridled efficiency and flow. Klay Thomspon is averaging 78 points per 48 minutes against the Bulls this year. Kriss Dunn had a plus/minus of -45 in 24 minutes. If he doesn’t roll his ankle and let Archie get some tick, there’s a v good chance the Bulls lose by 80. Maybe next time. Let’s get to the highlights
The Highlights
Love a half courter. I don’t care what anyone says, everyone wants to watch a half courter go in. Even under backers love a good half courter.
Playground shit man. This is pure playground shit. Chasing down your own shot in the corner for another open look is… say it for me guys…. playground shit.
Marcus Derrickson, whoever the fuck that is, had a career high last night. Probably lost his virginity afterwards if we’re being honest.
How about Jason Terry being top 5 all-time in made 3 pointers. That’s the real story here.
Robin Lopez having some fun down 41.
Jim Boylen is not.
As we move forward from this loss haha I’m just kidding there’s no moving forward. The Bulls suck. It’s a laugh factory in all phases: two out hitting, infield play
RIP Auggie. Would have loved to hear your thoughts on this 37 point beating
