Grading the Newest Sex Scandal Teacher

North Carolina - A teacher and a volunteer from the same high school in North Carolina both pleaded guilty to taking part in sex crimes with students on Wednesday.

39-year-old Rebecca Carol Swinson taught English and was the cross-country track coach at East Forsyth High School in Kernersville, North Carolina. Jennifer Ann Pike was a volunteer at the same school when they both pleaded guilty to having unrelated sexual encounters with students, People reports.

Swinson pleaded guilty to multiple charges, including three counts of sex acts with a student and 16 counts of taking indecent liberties with a student, People reports. Swinson was accused by prosecutors of allegedly having sex with two 17-year-old seniors at the school during the fall 2017 semester. …

Pike’s charges stem from a Sheriff deputies tip they received from CrimeStoppers on Oct. 30, 2017, after the student’s mother, who’d heard rumors her son had been having sex with Pike, according to police reports.

The mother confronted Pike and her son and both admitted to being in a sexual relationship. Some of their contact included text messages that were read in court.

Pike sent the student a text message that said, “If you want it, you have to come get it right now,” the prosecutor said in court.

You know Jennifer Ann Pike isn’t that great. I know Jennifer Ann Pike isn’t that great. So you might be confused as to why I’d make her the first Sex Scandal Teacher of 2019. Well allow me to explain. One of the last SSTs I graded in 2018 was Rebecca Carol Swinson. To refresh your memory, here she is:

To teachers from the same school appearing in the same court on the same day to plead guilty of banging their students. That, my friends, is how you bounce back from an act as tough to follow as the 2018 Sex Scandal Teacher Starting Lineup. Any single teacher would be absolutely steamrolled try to come after that, unless she was one of the all time greats. So when you don’t have the quality, you go for the quantity. Strength in numbers.

So here are Jennifer and, once again, Rebecca. Just a nice, safe choice to get the new year started off. But we’ll be expecting better, 2019. You have a lot to live up to.

Moral Compass/Bad Judgment: It’s got to be tough to be an aspiring Sex Scandal Teacher and you’re not only outdone by one of your co-workers, who’s banging twice the number of students and doing it in school, you can’t even be the most accomplished horndog teacher in court the day you plead guilty. No wonder her makeup ran. It’s that stupid Rebecca’s fault. Everybody hates a One-Upper.
