Ew. The idea that men and women will have to work together is fucking gross. I didnt like it when I was in the Marine Corps and I certainly dont like it now. The things that men and women would-be Marines do together at boot camp make this venture doomed for failure from the get-go.

For instance, the male would-be Marines will be required to run, do pull-ups, shoot their weapons, swim, perform close-order drill, and learn the very basics of combat tactics while maintaining military appearance and learning the history of the Marine Corps.

In my opinion, the fundamental mission of male and female would-be Marines are just too different for this to work.

I took many of the lessons I learned about male/female segregation into my civilian life.
