The Stanley Cup Champion Tom Wilson Revenge Tour Is Not Slowing Down

Uh ohhhhh, someone woke a sleeping bear. Or I guess maybe he woke himself up? Because as it turns out, first round pick and Stanley Cup champion Tom Wilson has some hands, and they aren’t just for punching people in the face.

I’ve long been a Tom Wilson believer. I’ve always believed he’d be a 20 goal guy. And maybe I underestimated him. That’s on me. Because since returning from suspension, Willy has been on an absolute tear, putting up 4 goals and 5 assists in 7 games. He has 3 multi-point games, and has picked up a goal in 3 straight, and points in 5 straight. The Caps are 6-1 in those games, which my sources confirm is good.

His TOI has increased over previous seasons too as he plays a more disciplined game. Ovi compared him to Eric Lindros

Tonight should be electric as Wilson plays the Islanders. People are expecting Ross Johnston to try and fight him, which is cute because he plays 5 minutes a night and it would be silly for him to match up with the Caps top line, but to each their own.
