Shout out Mookie Betts for what should be his second career MVP Award, he won his first last night, but I think he should have won it in 2016 as well, just for his performance against the Orioles. I had the honor of watching all 9 home runs and 21 runs driven in against the Birds, all while hitting .408 and having an OBP of .477 against them. Guy is an absolute STUD. Buck Showalter said Mookie was the best right fielder he's ever seen, and he's been around the block a time or 2.
Mookie had a crazy good year this season and won this MVP in a landslide. I'd bet this isn't the last MVP Mookie wins. Enough about this year, lets focus on him shitting on Orioles pitching. His first 2 homers came off of Kevin Gausman, with the final one against Dylan Bundy. This clip shows how good of a hitter he is, because in one game he hits homers to all parts of the field. Starts off with one to dead center, laces one down the line in left, and finishes with a shot to right. People do that in batting practice, Mookie does it in Baltimore.
Guy is one of if not the best player in baseball, he deserves the hell out of this MVP Award.
