John Mayer Debuted A New Song "I Guess I Just Feel Like" During A Show Last Night And It's Fantastic

My unbiased opinion is that that’s one of the best songs I’ve ever heard. That opinion is coming from a journalist with unbiased thoughts and opinions on John Mayer and his music. That opinion has nothing to do with the fact that John Mayer once uttered my name and thought that I owned Barstool Sports. That was just a good song. No two ways about it. JM’s still got it. Hand the dude a guitar and he’ll play you a diddy that’ll make you feel all the feelings. I feel warm. I feel seen. I feel loved. I feel like I love John Mayer more and more everyday and I didn’t think that was possible. There’s a reason he’s slept with a “soft 500″* people. There’s a reason he still sells out arenas. There’s a reason he hangs out with Dave Chappelle. He’s the best in the business.

*The number is so so so so so so so so so so so so so so so much higher than that by the way. My boss has a warehouse of Ball Don’t Lie shirts to sell the people who believed that. Mayer isn’t dumb. In fact, he’s super smart. He’s learned his lesson. He’s been dragged through the mud in the past for the way he’s talked about women. 500 is not even close to the real number. No one says the real number when they’re asked how many people they’ve slept with. If you’re a normal person like myself, you inflate the number by 300% so you don’t look like a virg. When you’re a hot and famous dick-slinger like John Mayer, you deflate the number by 300%. Duh.
