Things Are Off To A Great Start In Minnesota's Home Opener!
I think we were all waiting to see how the fine people of Minnesota reacted in their home opener, and the results are in. Not great! Normally games like this are times for positivity and excitement. Not in the Twin Cities. Not when you’ve put this fanbase through hell all summer. They are going to boo you and they are going to do it in the classic passive aggressive Minnesotan manner. That’s 10x worse than your standard booing. Jimmy Butler said he wouldn’t care either way, but there’s no chance that’s true, when 18,000 people boo you and they are your OWN crowd, that’s tough.
What I’m interested in seeing is what happens when they start playing. Do they cheer him when he makes a play? I mean you can hate him but at the same time you want the Wolves to do well tonight. Such a conundrum that the MIN fans do not deserve. If you thought this was the end of this saga, buddy we’re just getting started. It’s going to be a lonnnnnngggg cold year until they bite the bullet and trade this dude.
