It Must Suck To Be A Senators Fan Part 100: Brady Tkachuk To Miss Time With A Torn Ligament In Leg

Man, Senators fans just can’t catch a break? After this complete shit storm that happened this offseason, things were finally starting to look up (not really) with some of the young studs on the Sens roster starting off the year hot. One of those studs, Brady Tkachuk, who the Senators selected 4th overall in the 2018 draft, was off to a blazing hot start (3,g 3a, 6p in 4 games) and things were actually starting to look up with the Senators with their new, young identity. That is until the team announced today that Tkachuk will miss up to a month with a torn ligament in his leg.

The hit happened on Monday night in a 4-1 win over the Stars when Tkachuk went in to hit Blake Comeau and immediately went down grabbing his leg.

Poor Tkachuk, Poor Senators fans, and fuck, it sucks for the players too. I mean, it sucks for Tkachuk because now he has to watch his team get their dicks kicked in for the next month and there is nothing he can do about it. It sucks for the fans because now on top of having one of the worst teams in the NHL, a shitty arena and an owner who is threatening to move the team, now your most prized possession is out with a torn ligament. And it sucks for the players because now they are missing a crucial part of their offense, which will lead to losses, which leads to a shitty locker room environment. It a loss for everyone.

“But Grinnelli, lose for Hughes! Now they will really suck and get the top pick” Ahhhh nope. Those complete ass hats in Ottawa traded their 1st round pick (likely 1st overall) to the Avs for Matt Duchene. Did I mention that Duchene’s contract is up at the end of the year? What a deal!

2018 is such a good time to be a hockey fan. So many good teams and players. Unless you are a Senators fan, then 2018 sucks.
