I Am The Best At Being Denied High-Fives

On Saturday whilst in Michigan for the Panera college football show, NBA superstar Blake Griffin swung by the house we rented to watch games in before the show. He rolled in with a HUGE group of people, which I guess is to be expected when you’re Blake Griffin.

I was excited to meet Blake. He’s great at basketball. He’s funny. He’s tall. He exudes a coolness. He reminds me of Aaron Judge, who I love. And no, that’s not racist because nobody knows what race either of them are.

He showed up to the house, and I meekly stood in the corner. Never really introduced myself. Then, he came out on the show to be the guest picker. He picked Michigan to win by 248 points. The crowd went nuts. It was awesome.

He left the stage, and I tried to get a dap. This is how it went.

Could’ve gone better.

Just mark it down in a long line of getting left hanging on high-fives/daps.

There was March Madness….

You can’t be left hanging dryer than that.

And then we have Big Cat just being a meanie at Fanduel.

I guess people just see my face and say “I want to leave this kid hanging.” Can’t really blame them.

Just have to smile, play it off, and say “We’ll get ‘em next time.”
