I'll start by saying that over the last two seasons I have absolutely fallen in love with Alex Bregman, he's the man. He's one of the most fun players to watch, on one of the most fun teams to watch. Whether he is making web gems at third, hitting absolute tanks in the playoffs, or getting hammered, he's a rising star.
I remember seeing him play a few games at LSU before he was picked #2 overall and thought he was going to be a game changer, he is. This play is an example of why. The amount of ground he has to cover is insane, pair that with how he gathers the ball and where he throws it from? Forget about it. What a spark plug that dude is. He was that way in college as you can see. He wasn't even looking at first when he released it, and made a perfect throw. What a fantastic play.
There are so many things he does well, he's a complete player and absolutely a guy you would want to build a franchise around. It's almost unfair to have him on the Astros with guys like Jose Altuve, George Springer, and Carlos Correa. Geaux Alex.
