The Carolina Hurricanes Confused The Hell Out Of Me Tonight
I’m so confused by this. After the Hurricanes 8-5 win over the New York Rangers tonight, the team lined up on the blue line and basically did a team celebration together. The team did a skol like celebration that Minnesota Vikings fans do then skated full speed down to the far end of the ice to board jump in front of all the fans.
Is this awesome? Is this extremely fucking weird? I really just can’t put my finger on it. This has my mind in a pretzel. Why did they do this? What was the point? Was this the idea of the sicko new owner? It looks like it came from Mr. Game 7 Justin Williams.
I don’t know. I think I could like something like this. I feel like this example right here is a little forced. If they all just immediately skated right to the boards and did the board jump I would of liked it a little more. Or if they just did something a little cooler.
I’m trying to be nice here because we have Hurricanes goalie Scott Darling on Spittin’ Chiclets tomorrow and he’s an absolute beauty, but I don’t know, I like the overall idea of the team celly, but lets clean it up a bit, eh boys?
