Kevin Durant Coming Out In A Shawn Kemp Sonics Jersey Was Pretty Awesome

Look I don’t care if you think Kevin Durant ruined the NBA. I don’t care if you think he’s a snake and everything he’s done in Golden State has an asterisk attached to it. I don’t care if you think he’s a BBB. Seeing him get introduced in a Seattle Sonics jersey, no, even better, a Shawn Kemp Seattle Sonics jersey was awesome. This is the life he should have had, with his name among the Sonics legends. The great people of Seattle were robbed of an all time great, and I don’t know what I would do if that ever happened to me. Only having that one year of Durant would be like if Jayson Tatum was ripped from my life, and frankly I’d rather be dead. So for Sonics fans everywhere to be able to have this moment is pretty cool.

I was thinking when I saw this picture of Steve Kerr rocking a Sonics tshirt that it’s only right given how brutal it was to have a team ripped from them, that the NBA should make things right and give them the Warriors. I feel like nobody will hate them as much if they were Sonics. The people in the Bay had a good run, but forget giving Seattle the Grizzlies or Clippers or whatever. Give them the Warriors as an “I’m sorry for the last 10 years” present. All hard feelings immediately get washed away if you give them a couple titles.
