Making A Murderer Part 2 Is Returning To Netflix In October

You wanna know something fucked up? I don’t really care about this. Don’t get me wrong, I’m gonna watch it but I’m not sitting here yearning to find out what happened to the Dasseys (I guess that’s kind of a lie because I did just google when Brendan got out but I did it for blog research purposes. Turns out he’s still in jail. I thought the Supreme Court reversed his conviction a few years ago but I guess that reversal got reversed so this poor little fucker still hasn’t seen Wrestlemania).

When the first Making A Murderer came out I watched the whole thing in a night and didn’t shut the fuck up about it for a solid week. I called my mom, stopped random people in the street to tell them about the innocent hicks in jail, flipped through the Yellow Pages to call random lawyers just to shoot the shit about the case, I formed a congregation and preached the good word of Dean Strang and Jerome Buting, the smartest lawyers to ever live… I was a regular old Scrooge but instead of spreading Christmas cheer I was spreading tale of rape and murder.

But now? Eh, I’m over it. To ask me to stay hot about a topic this long is just asking way too much, plus after the fervor of viewing a new show died down and I looked at it from a fresh angle I realized that Steve Avery absolutely killed the hell out of Teresa Halbach. And that’s why I don’t watch documentaries anymore, because they’re just fictional stories where people try and spin their belief but they pretend they’re fair and balanced reporting. I’ll stick to the shows that admit they’re fiction, thank you very much.

But I’ll still watch this just to laugh at hicks from Wisconsin because that’s always fun.
