What a way to finish! He really willed that putt in. He even gave us a little fist pump when it dropped which made my heart skip a beat. An opening-round 65 feels damn good. It really didn’t feel like it was gonna be a 65 when the day started. It was hot as balls out there. He bogeyed the first hole. The Scotty didn’t seem like it had any magic and it really felt like it was gonna be a blah day. Despite all that he was still -1 through 9 holes but then he really turned it around on the back 9 with a 31 and finished it off with that boner-inducing eagle. All good things. I would love nothing more than a Tiger Woods win heading into the Ryder Cup. That’s what all Tiger fans want and that’s what the world should want.
