The Phillies Continue To Suck
Everything hurts after last night. Every bone. My soul, my heart, and especially my brain. I had trouble sleeping last night. Not really, I slept fine. But if I hadn’t slept like a baby, I imagine myself hiding under my covers with tears running down my face posting a video of myself crying to Gabe on camera about what exactly happened last night.
“Why didn’t you walk Ryan Zimmerman, Gabe? The reigning NL Player of The Week. Why did you let him hit his 3rd, count em, 3rd Walk-Off HR against us?”
“Why does Seranthony suck now?”
“Why is Rhys popping everything up? Moreover, why does the offense love to foul out and strike out with the bases loaded?”
“Do you believe this propaganda that God’s nectar, coconut oil, is poison?”
Is this why the Phillies are in a slump? & Gabe now doesn’t know what to do about it? https://t.co/GmevgALDQP

Listen, I’m not here to bash Gabe. Never in a million years would I do that. #InGabeITrust. This team is 10 games above .500 still and a year ahead of schedule. They don’t get there without Gabe. It doesn’t matter how poor this team has performed in the last two weeks, he is the man for the job. Last night’s game was a punch directly in the dick and yes, could have been managed differently. However, Gabe isn’t the one throwing sliders that don’t slide. He’s not the one up to the plate with the bases loaded fouling out. It doesn’t matter August is a stupid month for baseball anyway.
Last night was bad. It’s one of the 10 excruciating losses this team has experienced as Joey G points out in this tweet.
-Opening Day
-Scherzer game in May
-Neris blown save vs. Mets
-Heyward walk off
-Carpenter HR off Seranthony
-Sun. night Murphy walk-off in D.C.
-Walk off loss vs. Mets in July
-Dominguez blown save vs. Dodgers
-Extra inning loss in Boston
-Tonight10 gut-punching losses.

And the horror continues this afternoon as we face off against Scherzer who I guess you can say dominate the Phillies? No that’s not the word. What a more powerful word than dominate?
If the #Phillies had won 2 of 3 in DC, the #Nationals would have been 7 1/2 behind them. Now Wash is a Max Scherzer start away from being 3 1/2 back.
Scherzer has faced the Phillies 13 times as a Nat. He's 8-0! His team has gone 12-1 – and won the last 7 in a row! #whatwhiteflag
