Phil Mickelson Has Joined Twitter So Get Ready For Dad Jokes

Lefty! Welcome to Twitter! I am ready for the all the Dad jokes and him tweeting out his own Mizzen and Main gifs. His first tweet was a gif of himself so it’s gonna be a wild ride. I didn’t realize Phil didn’t have a Twitter account but I am now excited about the idea of following him. He’s gonna be extra goofy. Lefty is a very self aware person and self awareness is the name of the game on Twitter. Here’s to hoping we get some Phil/Tiger shit talk on Twitter leading up to their match.

I gotta be honest, I would not be on Twitter if I didn’t have to be. I have Twitter because it is a very big part of my job. But if I were a super famous golfer with millions in the bank? Noooooooo fuuuuuuuuuucking chaaaaaaaaance would I be on Twitter. I’m shocked that anybody who’s rich and famous is on Twitter. Phil is going to quickly learn that it’s a crazy place that doesn’t care how many golf tournaments he’s won (if he’s actually running the account which he probably won’t be). They will pick him apart just cause they can. Negativity is what fuels Twitter dot com. I get that having a Twitter account is a good way to build a person’s brand but Phil Mickelson’s brand doesn’t need any building. He’s crushing it without having a presence on social media. Phil dominated Twitter without being on Twitter.
