Brock Boeser Is A Dirty, Dirty Boy

So Brock Boeser has been absolutely dominating Da Beauty League with 12 goals and 27 points in 6 games this summer. I know it’s just a quote-unquote beer league but when you consider how Boeser’s season ended last March with a nasty back injury, it’s pretty impressive to see him out there putting on a clinic night after night. And this move right here? Well I hope somebody got the showers going in the locker room because everybody needed to wash off after watching this one.
Again, I get that this is a summer league. I get that nobody is out there going 100% defensively. But even if you’re just out on the ice dicking around with your boys, think about how easy it would be to lose control of the puck here. As soon as that stick lift happens, you figure that’s the end of the line for that dangle. It would a nice spin move but that’s all she wrote, play is going the other way. But somehow Boeser is able to get his stick back on the puck, drag it back, use the defender as a screen, kiss the pipe and it’s in the back of the net. And then to top it all off, he doesn’t even crack a smile afterwards. Like it was the most casual thing he’s ever done. Just slowly skates right back up to center ice for the next faceoff so he can do it all again. Perfect hair. Perfect dangles. Perfect hockey name. It makes me sick thinking about how jealous of Brock Boeser I am.
