Even Though Nobody Else Wants Him, Unemployed Football Player Dez Bryant Won't Return The Browns Calls

And folks, don’t get it twisted- this isn’t a “Dez Bryant won’t pick up because it’s the Browns”. It’s more of a “Dez Bryant won’t pick up because he’s an egotistical asshole”. Nobody wants Dez on their team. You can get a 4th WR for much cheaper for way less of a headache. The Browns are willing to take a flier on him and he’s trying to strong arm them? Laugh out loud funny. He’s trying to act like he has offers on offers, meanwhile most of the league is set to take the field tonight for preseason games, and Dez is at home picking his butt.

PFT - A report earlier this week indicated that the Browns remain interested in visiting with wide receiver Dez Bryant, but that nothing has been set up yet.

General Manager John Dorsey all but confirmed that report on Friday before the Browns took on the Giants in their first preseason game of the year.

Dorsey said, via Mary Kay Cabot of Cleveland.com, that the team will be bringing receivers in to visit with the team next week and that they’d like to have Bryant be part of the group “if he returns a phone call.”

“He won’t return any phone calls,” Dorsey said.

Honestly though, I’ll give him this credit- halfway through the blog I realized maybe he’s just waiting for a WR to get hurt during preseason and for more teams to start calling. Right now it’s only the Browns, maybe after tonight or next week there will be more. Once again, he’s betting on himself. Will be very awkward if nobody calls though and then the Browns tell him to go fuck himself. I doubt he won’t be on a team for Week 1, but god he’s going to be such a dickhead until then, isn’t he?
