Scumbag Pitcher Mike Fiers Liked a Tweet That Said 'Hit Stanton in the Mouth For Me' Four Years After Breaking Giancarlo Stanton's Face With a Fastball

If you don’t know the background behind these two guys, four years ago Giancarlo Stanton stepped to plate as a Miami Marlin against Milwaukee’s Mike Fiers. On an 0-1 pitch Fiers drilled Stanton in the face, resulting in multiple facial fractures, lacerations, and dental damage. The pitch changed Stanton’s career, forcing him to wear a facial guard for the rest of his career. He had to be stretchered off the field and still has nightmares from the horrible day.

Some real life scary shit. The two faced each other a few months ago and Fiers came up and in on Stanton again. He didn’t take it well and talked some shit as he walked to first. He later homered in the game and gave a point to Fiers as he crossed home plate.

There is significant bad blood between these two guys. They might hate each other the most out of any two players in baseball. Yesterday Fiers was traded to the Oakland A’s and got a ton of support on Twitter from fans welcoming him. One classy fan tweeted at him to hit Stanton in the mouth, and Fiers liked it of course.

What a fucking asshole. What a total scumbag. Still has it liked as of now. The A’s play the Yankees in September in Oakland and it’s entirely possible these two teams face each other in the American League Wild Card Game, if things hold where they are right now. If that’s the case I cannot fucking wait for these two to face off. Giancarlo is a pretty sensitive guy and I know for a fact he saw this interaction yesterday. If there’s one thing to avoid, it’s angering Giancarlo. If Fiers buzzes G inside in their next encounter then we’re going to get an all-out brawl. Stanton is going to murder this fucking guy.
