Nice! World Series Of Poker Champion John Cynn Makes Time For 'Hi Haters! Podcast' Even Though He's $8.8M Richer Than Us

Having been to Vegas several times, I’ve prepared a checklist in case I ever win big:

- Drug fueled ride around Vegas draped half-out of a limo moon-roof showing off fresh boob job
– Bet enormous sum of $$ on a single roulette spin with large, enthusiastic (paid) entourage cheering me on
– Eat hoagie flown in from Philly off a Thunder From Down Under guy’s leathery tan b-cheek
– Blacked out shopping spree

The odds of ever using that list would be a lot better if I actually knew how to gamble, and I’ve never even been close to winning big. But this week I did get close to Vegas greatness in an interview with John Cynn, the 2018 the World Series of Poker Champion.

After beating out 7,874 other players & 10+ draining final hours at the table against Tony Miles, John Cynn, 33, became the champ. Post-photographs, interviews & raking in an $8.8M payday he went to his suite at the Rio, shut himself in the closet for a minute and listened to some music to settle down. Then he had some close poker friends over to hang out.

Again, a little more low-key than what I would have done but a great interview nonetheless. Talking with Cynn on the podcast he was so friendly, down to Earth, & humble that I almost didn’t hate him for having $8.8M dollars more than me.
