Johnny Manziel Has Been Named The Starting QB For The Montreal Alouettes
Alright we’ve got some pretty big news from the CFL as Johnny Manziel has been named the starting quarterback of the Montreal Alouettes for their game on Friday. Kayce is on a yacht in Croatia so she’s not here to celebrate the big news, but for a guy that’s been on his side since college I’m pretty excited to see him finally start and play in a real game. This game will come against the Hamilton Tiger Cats, his former team where he was blocked by starting behind QB Jeremiah Masoli. At least he’s getting an opportunity instead of sitting on the bench.
The reality is that Montreal stinks out loud. They’re 1-5 and on three game losing streak. They’ve score 92 points (lowest in CFL) and given up 192 points (most in CFL) so Johnny isn’t going to come in and change everything, but at least he’s getting a shot. He’s basically joining the Cleveland Browns of the CFL. If you planned on going out on Friday then you should probably cancel. We’ve got Yankees vs. Red Sox and Johnny Manziel on at the same time. Sounds like a gambling bonanza to me. Fade Johnny by the way. The line will be inflated with public money with idiots having no idea Montreal absolutely sucks. Hamilton by a million.
