Is Letting Gay Pat Fight In Rough N Rowdy The Most Irresponsible Thing Barstool Sports Has Ever Done As A Company?

So this announcement kind of caught me by surprise the other day.  It wasn’t until I saw this electrifying promo video that I knew it was actually for real and not some kind of joke.

Gay Pat fighting in Rough N Rowdy.  Against this guy.  A convicted felon who hates homosexuals.

Now if we’re talking morality here, fuck this guy.  Hope Gay Pat beats his face into a bloody pulp.  If we’re talking reality and concern for the company we depend on to cut our paychecks and, (a way distant third), Gay Pat’s actual physical health – there is no way this can be a good idea.  I know we have good insurance, but this good?   Jesus.

Pat is, by my approximation, 135 pounds.

For those who don’t get to see him in the office every day, he wears that 135 pounds like it’s 115.  Just an absolute string bean.  All arms and legs.  He’s really good at basketball so I know he’s athletic – maybe that will help him dodge and weave effectively.  But when it comes to brute force, if one of those punches lands on poor Pat’s face or body, we won’t even see an explosion.  We’ll just see a total withering away of Pat as a human being.  And a head that lands somewhere up in the loge seats of Youngstown, Ohio.

Pray for Pat.  Pray for Barstool.  Buy the fight.

August 5th, 7 PM. $15.99.  $19.99 the day of the fight.

PS,

I love how this dude’s tagline is just “convicted felon.”
