I'm Insanely Jealous Of All The Fun England Is Having During This World Cup

The US not being in this World Cup didn’t really bother me until England made their run and started rubbing it in our faces with these viral celebration videos. And frankly, I’ve had enough. I’m gonna need Croatia to hang five on ‘em in the first half on Wednesday and to put them out of this tournament because this is borderline torturous.

There’s nothing better than when your team makes a run, and I’m just talking your college or the pro team where you grew up. I can’t imagine what it’s like to have the entire country pulling together for a month on this stage. And don’t give me the Olympics, it’s not the same. Getting behind Michael Phelps for one of the 10,000 different events going on isn’t comparable to this. It can’t be. And I love the USA Men’s Basketball team bludgeoning the rest of the world one alley-oop at a time as much as anyone but this is a different level entirely. All of England is Bills Mafia right now, complete with the drunkenness and the leaps of doom, and I couldn’t be more jealous.
