Whoops! Swing and a miss! We’ve all been there, Beatriz. No shame in whiffing. The best thing to do is just pretend it was another practice swing. Back off like you meant to do it. Maybe pick up a little grass and see which way the wind is blowing. Maybe throw in a back stretch and then step back up to the ball. Or you throw in a golf guy joke and you pretend you crushed it and ask, “Where’d that one go?” Who’s to say what’s a practice swing and what’s a full-on whiff anyway? Nobody knows unless they’re a mind reader and there’s no such thing as mind readers.

Alright yeah her foot slipped. Fine. You can clearly see that her foot slips. But it would’ve been way funnier if she had gone swing and a miss for real. Just completely miss the ball at pro event. The best part might be the announcers. The dude is like, “DID SHE JUST SWING AND MISS????????” and the lady is speechless. Utterly speechless. She didn’t know what to think.
