John Tortortella Looks A Lot Like The Lawyer From 'The Staircase'

I didn’t know who John Tortortella was until 16 minutes ago when Jordie published his blog on the guy. Judging from the title, it would appear that he’s an angry fella. But you wanna know something about John Tortortella that you might not have known or noticed? He looks a lot like the lawyer from ‘The Staircase’ on Netflix, David Rudolf. Like a lot. When I saw Jordie’s blog I was legitimately confused as to why Rudolf was on a hockey bench. That’s how much they look alike.

So if you fall in the middle of a Venn diagram where the sets are Hockey Fans and Watchers Of The Netflix Crime Documentary ‘The Staircase’ then buddy this is the blog for you. If you’re not a hockey fan and/or you’re not watching ‘The Staircase’ on Netflix, this is not the blog for you but I appreciate you clicking anyway.

Check this out:

They have to be long lost brothers, right? Gotta be. Or cousins. There’s some sort of relation there. That much I know. They even style their hair and facial hair the same. When they both have glasses, forget about it. They’re borderline identical twins at that point.

So the next time you’re at a social gathering, and the conversation inevitably grinds to a halt cause no one is very interesting, bring up the fact that NHL coach John Tortortella looks a whole helluva lot like lawyer David Rudolf from ‘The Staircase’ The two subjects are so wildly different that somebody in the room will know at least one of the things you’re talking about.

Until next time, this has been Puck Talk.
