Tom Brady Singing at the U2 Concert Sounds Like Heaven

This anonymous German on Twitter gets it. He’s speaking the international language of Tom Brady. And acknowledging that our boy is not just a great athlete and business mogul who’s redefining what we know about human physiology. He’s also a talented musical performer. Of course we’ve all seen him dance:

So we knew the music was in him. But I’ve been a more than casual observer of Brady since the day he arrived in Foxboro with a 5.28 40, a 24.5″ vertical and a dream. And if memory serves, this is the first time we’ve ever heard him sing. And it should come as no surprise that his voice sounds like a heavenly choir of angels. Like a combination of Fergie and Jesus.

He’s got the kind of voice you skip OTAs to protect, so you don’t shout yourself hoarse getting on the same page with your news skill position guys. You sing like that, you are put on vocal rest until your next performance.

I have to confess that my first instinct was to object to those seats, him and Gisele sitting up in the 9th at the TD Garden, like some injured Bruin. When GOAT privilege entitles him to floor seats. Or, if there’s any justice in the world, on stage next to Bono with a mic in his hands. But then I realized that’s Tom and Gisele for you. Just regular folks. A man and a woman of the people. Sitting up there in the rafters with the proletariat who waiting a couple of weeks before tickets went on sale before deciding to go. Just so typical of the guy who never forgot where he came from.

P.S. Watching this again for the 3,000th time, I’m 75 percent convinced Brady has a buzz on here. God, I hope so. I need to know that old, 2003 era banging-Tara-Reid Brady is still in there someplace.
