Just an all time scorcher of a track. I’m not really sure what happened to K’naan and why he’s not out there making bangers anymore. Maybe he realized that “Wavin’ Flag” was the best he was ever going to get and decided to go out on top. In which case, I totally get it. And it was also just brought to my attention that he’s now 40-years-old. Wasn’t expecting that.
Either way. It’s damn near impossible to have a bad weekend when you get it kicked off with Wavin’ Flag. Especially not when you’ve got the World Cup and US Open going on all weekend.
