Scherzer Dominated, As Is Tradition, And Bryce Hit Number 18
My word. The Caps weren’t the only DC team getting it done last night. Max rebounded from a so-so start last week and went into Baltimore and punished. Another incredible outing for Mad Max, which we’ve come to expect but is still impressive every single time.
If his arm was chopped off by a rogue samurai sword today, he would still be in the running for the Cy Young. It’s looking like a 2 man race between Max and Josh Hader right now, but Max’s numbers could end up being just too good (granted he keeps it up).
It’s been a real treat watching him pitch this season, thank you MLB streams.
.
And then on the other side, Bryce launched his 3rd HR in 4 games, giving him a nice 18 on the young season.
Oppo but still felt confident enough to watch it.
So cocky about this one, business only.
Bryce has slumped in May purely in batting average, hitting only .230, but he also has hit 10 home runs, 21 RBI, and an .871 OBPS. I fully expect a more well-rounded June, looking at .300, with another dozen homers. #MVPHunting
