Was Bill Simmons Complaining About His Air Time On National Television Last Night The Biggest Baby Move Of All Time?

I used to be a fan of Simmons, still think he can be good at times, so this isn’t coming from a hater’s perspective, but that one sentence speaks volumes. So Hollywood, so out of touch with the common fan, absolute diva. It goes back to his last column where he wrote 5,000 words on how great Ray Allen’s Game 6 shot last year was in person. How he was fighting a flu all week and persevered through it, as if he was some sort of warrior. How he casually dropped this line

“When I played at Staples Center a few months ago, I kept trying Ray’s shot with Grantland’s Dave Jacoby playing the role of Bosh. It’s just about impossible to furiously backpedal and land perfectly between those two lines, much less launch a coherent 3-pointer”.

Basically saying, hey guys, I played at the Staples Center and Ray Allen’s shot was really hard because I couldn’t even do it after practicing it a million times, at the Staples Center, where the Lakers play, they opened it for me, ever heard of it?

And Sage Steele’s face says it all. The “is this guy serious?” face. That was like Reilly asking for credit on Monday Night Football. Just as whiny and insufferable and out of touch as it gets. Awful look.
