Bruins definitely need a good win today. Lately its been just depressing. Up in the first, then giving it up in the third or OT, they are better than this. But just gotta hope that they can put it into gear and continue until they peak when it matters most.

Baby Jesus - I would say it's a toss-up. The precedent has been set for firing coaches late in the season with New Jersey a few years back (with Julien, no less)so it could happen. But Chiarelli isn't that type of guy. Julien did a great job last year and we've seen the job he's done this year, so things can change for the team before the playoffs start or in the playoffs.

I heard an interview with Ward a few weeks ago, and he likes the position they're in. I'm paraphrasing here, but he said they know what they need to know, they know they're capable, they just need to pull it together. And it starts with leadership, which I've seen little of lately. The coach can only do so much; they need the Chara's, the Savard's, the Thomas' to come through.

With that said, this is game is yooge (as Jerry Remy says). It'll be quite a barometer for the rest of the season, and they better come to play.

Some great points there.. I also heard the Ward interview.. they won the game that night then went back to their shitty ways. As for Claud being fired Chiarelli painted himself in a corner. I guess I was asking SHOULD he be fired.. not WILL cuz Peter fucked himself there.

There is no way Julien should be fired he's the best thing to happen to the B's in a long time, its outrageous to suggest he should lose his job for nothing more than a slump.

Claude is obviously a ball busting hard worker. But he has a young team that may be either speant/ or turned off. How you dont see that as a coaching issue is beyond me. Id call you a retard, but I have a suspicion you are nailing either Tappen or one of the Jacobs. And I heard Tappen has a man.

My Dad predicts that the Bruins should fire Jean Claude van Damn Julien but won't. Which blows because their legs are deader than that dead skunk I just passed. A turkey vulture was chewing on that dead skunk, on rte 24. My Dad's let me drive so they can make out in the back seat. We just went to New Beige to have lunch.

Quality

There is a coaching issue, but no I don't think he should be fired. The only thing I can see getting him canned would be really tanking the rest of the season and getting bounced in the first round. And even then, I would probably still keep him. I think compared to the coaches we've had for the past 10-15 seasons, he's been a breath of fresh air and has installed a system to make the team successful for once.

Also, fun note about Kathryn Tappen...sat in the Sports Deck at the B's/Wings game this year and they were filming for TV there. That bitch has more makeup than a damn clown and is way too skinny. I'd still do the Horizontal Shuffle, but she wouldn't be getting breakfast in the morning.

If Julien got fired it would be a disgrace. He had this team way overachieving most of the year and now they've come back to earth a bit.
