Man falls on ice, shoots laughing onlookers
Pioneer Local - A group of Evanston friends thought it was funny when a man fell on the ice, but the situation quickly turned ugly when the fallen man drew a gun and shot one of them. The incident occurred about 12:30 a.m. Saturday when the victim was standing outside with friends near 704 Florence in Evanston, according to a report from Evanston police. When the group saw a man fall on the ice, they started to laugh at him, but he wasn't amused. The man pulled a gun and fired a shot, striking the victim in the ankle, the report said. The victim was treated at a local hospital, the report said. No one else was injured.
The only thing you can do in this situation if you’re the kid that got shot is mumble to yourself “touche.” I mean that word just sums up this entire story. Guy falls down. You laugh at him. He shoots you. Touche.
PS - For anybody who thinks this story is going to stop me from laughing at people who fall down you are sadly mistaken. Listen it’s every human beings unalienable right to a laugh at other people's misfortune. It's what separates us from them. I'd rather die laughing at somebody getting hurt than to have never laughed at all.
