I owned a little bar & grill in Virginia and there were lots of kids from the North East that went to Washington & Lee right next door to me. Inevitably they would all end up with the worst little fake accents.....little rich kids from New England saying "Y'all"'s.....pitiful.

I grew up on the cape, went to The University of Georgia, and have a few answers. Yes the girls are hotter. Yes the weather is better. Yes everything is more expensive, but the people aren't mean. the people are honest. down south everyone is nice to your face then talk tons of shit the second you walk away. up here they just speak thier minds and you know where you stand with everyone. Helps out alot when you need someone you can trust. The most annoying thing for me though was the slow pace of everything. Drove me nuts.

Side note: This kid has got it all wrong. if anything, laying on the boston accent a little thicker than reality is the way to go. the southern girls ate that shit up!

1. The girls at both of those schools are absurdly hot, so that would have been amazing except for the fact that it was in the library, and in my experience, hot girls don't hang around in the library waiting for a spontaneous rave, so it was probably all beat chicks in that thing.

2. I am from Mass, but went to school in Richmond, VA, and played ball with a bunch of kids from Carolina, and I absolutely found myself throwing "y'all" into casual conversation, even at home. That would be like somebody coming to Boston for 4 years and picking up the occasional "wicked". Happens all the time.
