College Football Saturday Picks

I just woke up. But don’t worry I already have winners coming out my ears. There isn’t much time so here is my Saturday 4 pack as I continue to build on my dominating undefeated, undisputed perfect season.
Akron at Wisconsin -27
Anybody who has paid any attention to college football the past decades should be all over this game. This is Wisconsin 101. They schedule cupcakes in their first 5 games and roll over them like thunder. Then they play either Ohio State or Michigan or somebody good and lose. It happens every fucking season. So if history is any indication this will be a 40 pt blowout. And I believe in history. I believe in America!
Mortal Lock – Wisconsin
Oklahoma State at Washington State – Over/Under 66.5 total
This just smells like an over doesn’t it? I mean Oklahoma State doesn’t play a lick of defense and I don’t know what Washington State does but the Cowboys are one of those teams that score 35 no matter whether they win or lose. I’m thinking this will be close so by my math it has to go over.
The Pick – Over
Washington at Oregon Over/Under – 62
The QB for Washington is pretty good. He’s worth 21 points by himself even though everybody else on the team sucks. Sure there is no Dennis Dixon this year for Oregon but the score of this game heading into the 4th quarter last year was 31-31. Hmm, I’ll take my chances that this is going to be another typical Pac 10 shootout. Plus the game kicks at 10pm and everybody knows late night Pac 10 games take 8 hours to play and wildness is just part of the deal.
Over – 62
Western Michigan at Nebraska – 14
Don’t know anything about either of these teams. Just know 14 points is way too low for a home opener under the lights at Lincoln vs. a team not from a power conference.
The Pick - Nebraska
you should ask Manzo about Washington State. he's all over the Cougs. New no huddle/spread offense at Wazzu should mean a lot of points on offense, but our defense is shaky at best. I expect a shoot out somewhere in the 42-35 range. so good call.
oh and that Washington QB is Jake Locker. Sure he's a great athlete, but he's just a sophomore. His RB is a true freshman. His leading receiver to return from last year? Curtis Shaw. 5 catches for 47 yards all of last season. UW lost their top 8 receivers and their do everything RB in Louis Rankin. Not to mention Oregon has one of the best secondaries in the Pac 10. I don't mean to rain on your parade, but Oregon is going to win this game 28-10. You should have taken the under.
I just got royally screwed in that Wisconsin game. Wisconsin turns the ball over twice inside the 2 yard line going in and they fumble running out the freaking clock giving the ball back to akron for TD with 36 seconds left. You have to be shitting me.
Also I have no confidence in my overs anymore. These rule changes have totally changed the game. They are ending half an hour earlier than last year and an hour earlier than two years ago. Clock never stops.
o/u on the week the picks stop coming? 4.5
I'll save your asses, get used to it.
Utah ML + 140, 1u
USC -20, 1u
Michigan/Utah Under 42.5 1 Unit
UVA +20.5 1 Unit
UVA +11 1st Half 1 Unit
when is the stool going to have someone write college football blogs that actually knows something about college football?

i don't think i understand. you made a bet on the final outcome of the game, no? so how did you get royally screwed when there were 36 seconds left? seems to me the game wasnt over yet.
love that gamblers mentality...

EP, nobody gets royally screwed or jinxed or mushed or whammied---that's the beauty of gambling, you either win or lose (and occasionally push). Take it like a man.
1-4 ouch
err 1-3
