(How can anybody else be considered Title Town when we already made shirts to prove it?)

As I’m sure everybody has noticed by now, ESPN has been promoting this ridiculous Titletown contest non stop for the past month.   Well believe it or not I’ve gotten a few emails telling me that I should urge people to vote for Boston so we can win.  Give me a fucking break.  The whole thing makes me want to puke.   Listen I don’t need Stuart Scott to tell me that we are Titletown USA.  I got 6 rings this century that tells me that.   Frankly it’s a slap in the face to all Bostonians that they are even doing this dumb ass contest in the first place.    I mean while we’re at it why don’t we vote for who was the best team in the NBA this year or who has had the best football team this decade?  Listen, facts are facts.  Without Boston, sports probably wouldn’t even exist in this country anymore.   So sorry if I don’t get worked up about a poll in which we’re competing against the likes of Podunk High School and Pittsburgh.   If you have any self respect you'll boycott this thing all together so we can come in dead last and prove how ridiculous it is.  Bottom line is that you don’t vote to determine Title Town USA.  You earn it just like we have been doing for the past 10 years.
