TheDailyWhat – Three members of India’s morally conservative Bharatiya Janata Party — one of whom suggested a buttoned-up dress code for women just last month — were forced to resign in disgrace after they were caught looking at pornography on a cell phone during a parliamentary session.
It’s such a shame that behavior like this is punished instead of used as an opportunity to grow. These guys were just doing what damn near every warm-blooded male with 3G access does at some point in their week: looking at cell phone porn. Did the other ministers use this as a chance to build bridges across cultures based on similar habits or learn that politics aside we aren’t all that different after all? Maybe joke about this experience and realize that every guy, conservative, liberal, Eastern, Western, Christian, Athiest, or Muslim all share an appreciation for instant wireless tittyballs? Nope. Why would they do that when they could point fingers, scream outrage, and push the ball of misunderstanding and hatred a little further down the road.
This is the shit that fires me up. Yeah, okay, maybe I don’t like my home smelling like curry naan or understand the rules of cricket. And maybe they don’t like buffalo wings or know what a defensive holding flag is. But we all know Pornhub and YouPorn and all the other sites that keep the internet in business. Why let another chance to come together get tossed out like the window like this? Because some Indian liberals wanna point fingers across the isle? Bullshit. Way to follow Madonna’s message, guys.
