So How About That Little Concert Last Night?

Tried late last night to post the full Jay-Z / G.O.O.D. Music set, but unfortunately some of the hamsters powering our servers died and I couldn’t embed the video. Just wanted to quickly comment on how insane that show was. While I wasn’t too high on the idea of paying as much as I did to have an $8 Billion corporation push alcohol on the coveted 18-24 demographic and veiling it in the image of the American flag and “What’s Your Cause?” free-writing board bullshit, I gotta say I get every penny of my money’s worth yesterday. Plus, by the time you were on your third Bud heavy you didn’t even care that they were $11 each.

I could write 10 blogs on the Jigga set alone, and maybe it was only because I was drunk but every act put in work. MMG killed it. Skrillex killed it. Miike Snow & Passion Pit hipster killed it. I’m not even a fan really but hearing Skrillex’s first drop while swerve-peeing in a humid port-o-potty was a transformative experience. Fireworks and a surprise Jay Electronica performance, too? Worth every penny.

I’m not there today, but I expect everybody who went to either show to send me your best pictures of weird life happening at Made In America. Best ones will get posted.
