Do people love looking like the victim or what? This mother could have easily just gone to the teacher directly without the use of CNN and squashed this thing herself. Blah blah blah “I don’t appreciate this” blah blah “I’ll talk to my daughter about her homework” blah blah “Go fuck yourself”. Conversation over and situation diffused. Could have then told her daughter to use this award as motivation to try harder and show that bitch teacher who is a “catastrophe”. Could have done any of those things and still looked like a half-decent parent.
But of course that’s not what happened. It’s all about the whining and sympathy and trying to gain something from your misfortune. It’s a shame really that this little girl didn’t learn the value of hard work and overcoming odds from this experience and instead learned that it’s easier to defame someone and publicly shame them into apologizing. Years from now this poor girl will probably end up rattling off excuses for the rough handys she gives in the back of a nudity-free go-go bar…while trying to earn enough to feed her daughter Catastrophe.
PS – Doesn’t it say CATastrophe anyway? That doesn’t seem bad at all.
