Profile In Courage: American Hero Joan Rivers Refuses To Apologize For Holocaust Joke

usatoday – Has Joan Rivers gone too far (again)? The comedian has sparked controversy over a joke she made about Heidi Klum in a sexy Julien Macdonald dress at Elton John’s AIDS Foundation Academy Awards party. “The last time a German looked this hot was when they were pushing Jews into the ovens,” Rivers said of the German-born supermodel on Monday’s episode of E!’s Fashion Police. The Anti-Defamation League’s director Abraham H. Foxman, a Holocaust survivor himself, said in a statement that the comments were “vulgar and offensive to Jews and Holocaust survivors.” The anti-Semitism watchdog group also criticized Rivers’ Fashion Police co-hosts Giuliana Rancic, Kelly Osborne and George Kotsiopoulos, whom the statement says were “doubled over with laughter” after she made the joke.

Is it possible that after all and the shots have been fired and the dust has cleared that Joan Rivers and Barstool will the only ones alive who still believe in free speech? With the public cowing The Onion and anyone else who says something not written in the PC handbook into insincere apologies, it’s nice to see the old bitch stand up for what’s right. Fuck what anyone thinks — I ride with Joan Rivers.

She’s looks like she’s 400 years old and only looks that good because of her surgeon, but the woman is fearless. You think anyone would be thinking or talking about the Holocaust or slavery or any of history’s inconvenient truths if the PC police had their way? Hell no. It takes brave people like Joan and to a greater degree heroes like myself to stand up to these assholes and demand to see & speak on the world as it really is, not how we wish it to be. Heidi Klum looked hot in her dress. Keidi Klum is German. Germans killed Jews by pushing them into ovens. Old Jewish lady makes joke by saying, “The last time a German looked this hot was when they were pushing Jews into the ovens.” What am I missing? Is it now offensive to remind German people that they killed millions of Jews? Fuck that.
